Amazon.com Product Description A replica version of the jersey that Derrick Lee wears when he takes batting practice at home, this Majestic Chicago Cubs Replica Batting Practice Jersey will keep you comfortable while on the go. The short-sleeve jersey features a 100-percent polyester textured knit body with a button front design just like the players wear. The jersey also wears its fanhood proudly, with an authentic self-fabric applique Cubs wordmark on the front chest and Lee's name and #25 number on the back. And to keep you looking sharp during the season, the jersey includes color-blocked side body inserts with a woven locker tag. As with every Majestic garment, the jersey carries itself with the same qualities--commitment, tenacity, and persistence--as every Major Leaguer who's ever stolen home, thrown a 100 mph fastball, or batted in the winning run. About Majestic Athletic The Majestic Athletic story began in the 1950s, when Mary Capobianco endeavored to open her own sewing mill. After working in the booming garment industry of Bangor, Pennsylvania, she realized she could work just as hard for herself and get much more in return. She started with women's clothing, blouses mostly. The company was called Maria Rose Fashions, and served well-dressed women from coast to coast. It was a far cry from athletic apparel, but it demanded the same attention to detail. After learning the garment business first-hand, her son Faust Capobianco III followed in her footsteps. In 1976, he founded the Majestic Athletic you know today. Well, almost. The spirit was there, but the company hadn't made it to the big leagues yet. That happened in 1982, when Majestic introduced its first Major League Baseball batting practice jersey. This relationship grew in 1984 when the company signed its first MLB National Licensing Agreement, which brought fans the high-quality apparel they needed to truly show their team's colors. From the beginning, Majestic Athletic's philosophy has been simple: create the highest-quality athletic wear with a commitment to heritage, craftsmanship, and authenticity. And even though the company has hit the big leagues, the employee still takes time to add the hand-stitched details that got them where they are. But now they do it for every Major League Baseball club, the National Basketball Association, the National Pro Fastpitch Softball association, and most major colleges and universities.
Product Description Major League Baseball is our nations national pastime. So, enjoy watching your favorite team with this replica Full Button Front Jersey from Majestic Athletic. This jersey has a button front like the players wear and features a self fabric appliqué of the team's authentic work mark on the front and your favorite players name and number on the back. This jersey is sure to be a "home run" with the true MLB fans!

| Customer Reviews: Better than expected August 25, 2010 Pam G. Ianni Very surprised at the quality of this item. Too bad D. Lee is no longer a Cub - traded two weeks after the jersey arrived - but that certainly is not the products fault.
Wish the back was stitched and not printed. July 23, 2010 R. Boling (Elmhurst, IL) This is a nice jersey. It fits and hangs well and all the stitching looks good, No misses stitches or hanging threads. I just wish the lettering and name on the back was stitched on also. For $35-40 it was worth the price.
